Technological background of the project
The Renis project data is stored in the electronic database of the CLADE-IS system.
This system was designed for the purpose of collecting large volumes of data in clinical trials and registries and is fully adapted to the structure and requirements of this project.
The online registry application is available to users through any Internet browser and features responsive web design. Only authorized users have access to the CLADE-IS interface based on a unique username and password combination.
The recorded data is anonymous: for each patient (or for each case) a unique ID is always generated, which does not allow any back identification of the patient. The patient's identity is thus known only to the attending physician or authorized healthcare professional.
Communication between CLADE-IS and its users is encrypted via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).
